THROTTLE ROD

This throttle rod is designed for use in the throttle control system of the Citroën Mehari. The rod forms the mechanical link between accelerator pedal and engine control and provides a direct transfer of pedal movement. The length of 645 millimetres fits within the original layout of this vehicle type. The throttle rod supports stable and repeatable throttle response and helps control the position of the engine actuation. The design suits existing mounting points and moving parts in the drivetrain. In this way the operation of the accelerator pedal remains consistent during daily use in different driving conditions.
